Description
The Capri boat tour for small groups lasts about two hours and shows the island from the water, with no more than 12 people on board. You head from the meeting point to the boats and are greeted by the Scugnizzo statue, an emblem of the island.
The route then runs along caves and hidden coves, with sailors telling local stories and legends as you go. You pass the historic villas of the Emperor Tiberius and stop for a swim in clear water beneath the Faraglioni.
Food is part of the trip. Everyone tastes homemade limoncello along with:
- Caprese cake, made with chocolate and almonds
- Anacapri lemon cake
- Tarallini and breadsticks
Beach towels, sunscreen, masks, noodles and water are provided. Entry to the Blue Grotto is not included in the tour. Exploring, tasting and swimming all fit into the same outing, so the two hours are never only sailing. The tour is not suited to people with mobility impairments.
