Description
This Ischia boat tour circles the whole island on the motorboat Ulisse, so you see its coast from the water, with a guide on board describing what passes by. The boat gets as close to the rocks as it can, for the most hidden views.
The sights are many: Aragonese Castle and the Elephant Rock, the rock named La Nave, the Rocks of the Lovers, the villas of Zaro and the Grotta del Mago. The bays of Citara, Sorgeto and San Montano follow, together with Villa Colombaia, the Church of the Soccorso and the hill of Montevico. Fresh lemonade and fruit are served during the cruise.
In all it takes just over three hours, with about an hour and ten minutes free in Sant'Angelo, a quiet, fully pedestrian village of pastel Mediterranean architecture, sometimes called little Capri. Use the time for shopping, a coffee or an ice cream with a view, a swim at the small beach beside the pier, or photos around the marina.
