Description
A Naples Gulf boat tour shows the city from the angle that inspired the saying "See Naples and die". Minutes after the boat leaves Borgo Marinari the skyline opens up, and a local guide gives the stories behind it in English and Italian.
Vesuvius stays on the horizon, and the medieval fortress Castel dell'Ovo seems to grow out of the waves. Then the boat follows the Posillipo cliffs, with their pastel villas, as far as the volcanic island of Nisida. Expect myths, legends and history, from Greek settlers to Neapolitan life today.
