Description
The Path of the Gods hike from Sorrento is led by Nino Aversa, a hiking guide from the Sorrento Peninsula, and his team. A round-trip transfer takes you to Agerola, and the guides look after you from pick-up to return.
The walk starts from the village of Bomerano and returns there. The trail runs through vineyards, terraces, old farms and cliffs over the sea, a landscape that changes constantly. There is a chance to meet local farmers and shepherds, including a shepherd whose family has worked these hills for generations, with his herd. Local history, traditions and nature come with the views of the Amalfi Coast. The guides also give information about the part of the trail you do not walk, towards Nocelle and Positano.

This is a mountain hike with many stairs and exposed points, mostly in the sun, so it suits people in good physical shape and is not recommended for anyone with vertigo or walking difficulties. Wear proper shoes and clothing, and bring water. Food and drinks are not included.
