Description
Rather than plan a route, you can ride one: the Naples hop-on hop-off bus covers the city on two lines, and the 24-hour ticket lets you use both. Get off at any stop where something catches your eye, visit, then board the next bus.
- Line A, Historic, a full loop of about 45 minutes, starts at Largo Castello in Piazza Municipio and passes the Gesù Nuovo church, Piazza Dante, the National Archaeological Museum and Porta San Gennaro, then Garibaldi station and the university area
- Line B, Panoramic, about 70 minutes, heads out to Mergellina and Posillipo for coastal views, and finishes near the Stazione Marittima, the pier for cruises and the islands of the gulf
Commentary is available in eight languages and mixes facts with anecdotes about Neapolitan history and traditions, with songs from the city in the background. A hostess service is there to help.
