Description
This Capri boat tour from Sorrento runs on a comfortable boat that takes up to 12 people. You either get picked up at a hotel in the Sorrento area or make your own way to the marina, and then the boat follows the coast, passing the Marciano waterfall before crossing to the island.
With the early option you reach the Blue Grotto as it opens, so there are no long queues, and you switch to a small rowboat to enter the cave. After that the boat circles Capri past the Faraglioni, the White Grotto, the Green Grotto, a natural arch and the Punta Carena lighthouse, while the guide explains what you see.
Stops are made for swimming and snorkelling, with masks provided, and drinks are served on board: prosecco, water, beer and soft drinks. Then comes about four hours of free time on Capri, long enough to shop, sit with a drink in the town or ride the chairlift up Monte Solaro and walk down. On the way back there is a limoncello tasting.
